Mrs Jessop, Renewable Energy System

Air Source Heat Pump, Solar PV installation

Air Source Heat Pump and Solar PV installation for Mrs Jessop

Background

Mrs Jessop originally contacted us to take advantage of the governments Green Homes Grant scheme to replace her old oil boiler. She was also interested in producing her own energy to futureproof her 3-bedroom, semi-detached property.

Requirement

A solution was required to replace her inefficient conventional oil boiler with a more environmentally friendly alternative which would reduce running costs along with her carbon footprint. Energy production was also necessary to further reduce fuel bills. .

Solution

A Mitsubishi Ecodan Air Source Heat Pump was proposed to provide the full properties heating and hot water requirements along with a SolarEdge Solar PV system to produce electric which could be offset against the heat pumps consumption to further reduce running costs and CO2 emissions. Replacement radiators were also required to ensure the heat demand of each room was achieved using a more efficient low temperature system.
