Mr Malcolm, Air Source Heat Pump & UFH installation

See how an air source heat pump can be an ideal equivalent to a gas boiler for self-build developments.

Air Source Heat Pump and UFH Installation for Mr Malcolm

Background

Mr Malcolm initially contacted us to discuss available options for his detached self-build home. He was drawn to Marshall and McCourt following works we conducted for other clients on the Wynyard development.

Requirement

The brief was to provide an efficient, low carbon heating system to adequately heat the home and provide sufficient hot water. As a new build premise, our team were able to design the heating system from architect drawings, avoiding unnecessary visits and or delays to Mr Malcolm’s build process.

Solution

Marshall and McCourt designed and supplied a Solar PV system which was to be installed onto the garage area due to the requirement of these panels not to be located on the main dwellings roof for aesthetic reasons. A higher output all black panel maximised the energy produced from the surface area available. The addition of battery storage allowed for any surplus energy to be stored rather than this being supplied back to the grid.
