A Modern Bathroom Installation by Marshall & McCourt

Requirement

Mr Scarr first contacted us to advise on a solution for a new more efficient heating system. We subsequently installed a heat pump, solar panels and new radiators at his property. As refurbishment work started he then decided that it was time to give his bathroom a revamp. With this in mind we offered him a full project managed bathroom design, supply and installation service alongside the heating installation which was really appealing as no other contractors were required.

A modern looking bathroom was required that stood out from the rest. Storage space was also required to hide away all toiletries. Although the bathroom was an awkward shape and a tight space, the customer required a separate shower and bath to give both options and appeal to families with children if he was ever to sell the property.

Solution

A full run of fitted furniture was installed to provide that much needed storage space for all of the toiletries. LED lighting was installed around the base of the bath and furniture plinth to create a feature and calming environment to enjoy a low lit room, perfect for a soak in the bath after those hard days at work. PVC cladding was chosen with a contrast for the shower area to really give this room some character and life. The flooring was a waterproof Aqua step which gives that laminate feel but will never deteriorate under the wet conditions of a bathroom.
