A Modern Bathroom Revamp for Mr Sadiq by Marshall & McCourt

Requirement

This project comprised of two stages. The first stage was to remove an old floor standing boiler and hot water tank on the landing. The second stage was to install a new efficient combi boiler in the loft space. Mr Sadiq chose Marshall & McCourt as we could provide both of these services and coordinate them together.

The customer’s main requirement was to create more space in his bathroom to allow for a shower area with wall jets, fixed heat and wall arm. Storage space was required as previously the old hot water tank cupboard was utilised.

Solution

We had to first remove the hot water tank and knock down the adjoining bathroom wall to create more space for the shower opening. Then a new wall was required to block up the old door opening. Inset jets were fitted into the wall space and fitted furniture with granite worktop to create the much needed storage space but provide a modern feel.
