Air Source Heat Pump  installation for Mr & Mrs Cauldwell

Background

Mrs Cauldwell contacted us to enquire about having an air source heat pump installed under the governments Green Homes Grant funding scheme. The property is a semi-detached bungalow and has been newly purchased with a full internal renovation planned.

Requirement

An efficient heating system to replace the existing old gas boiler which needed to heat underfloor heating throughout the property that the client had installed. There was limited internal space, so a compact solution was required.

Solution

An Air Source Heat Pump was proposed as the property was well insulated with a low heat requirement. Although there were space limitations, the heat pump could be located discreetly to the rear with the pressurised hot water tank in the garage. A Samsung heat pump was chosen due to its high efficiencies and 7-year warranty
