ECO funding has been introduced by the Government to help reduce carbon emissions. ECO stands for Energy Company Obligations and is financed by the big six energy companies.

Under the Government’s ECO Scheme, qualifying home owners and private tenants could have their old inefficient gas, oil or LPG boiler replaced- completely free of charge* or heavily subsidised.

The aim of this initiative is to lower the cost of heating homes and reduce the carbon footprint of low-income households. This is a non-repayable grant and there are no complicated terms and conditions.
