Mr Leonard first contacted us as he was interested in a new Biomass boiler installation with a full new heating system compromising of underfloor heating and radiators. Whilst completing this project he decided it was time for a revamp to his bathroom and en-suite. After viewing some other examples of our bathroom installations and seeing first hand the quality of work and customer service that was provided throughout the renewable energy installation, he decided to proceed with our full bathroom design, supply and installation service.
This customer required a dressing room to be removed in the en-suite area and a new wet room installing. As specialists in wet room installation, we fully waterproofed this area ready for mosaic tiles to be fitted. Storage space was essential in both rooms with tiles to be installed on the full wall and floor areas. A bath was not required as the client preferred to have larger shower areas in both the bathroom and en-suite.
We created a raised platform in the en-suite to form a large wet room area as the floor type was concrete and the customer did not want this disturbing for new drainage to be installed. The full wet areas were tanked using specialist water proof boards and tiled using mosaic’s to follow the natural slope in the wet room tray. Fitted furniture was fitted to both areas with a combination of specially selected units. For an additional feature, a inset shower with large vertical fixed head and separate shower attachment were placed in the wet room area providing a high pressure showering experience. Also a U shaped shower enclosure was selected for the main bathroom due to its unusual shape which still allowed for a basin and toilet to be installed.
