The main requirements on this project were high pressure hot water for the shower to allow for an amazing shower experience along with a small storage space and an inset TV which was linked to the customers sky system. A separate shower cubical also needed to be considered for those rushed mornings where there is no time for a bath.
This bathrooms main feature is the unique bath with a curve at one end to maximise on space to allow for a shower cubical to also be installed. The bath has a chrome overflow filler and a large waterproof TV inset into the walls and tiles at one end with speakers built into the ceiling. Also installed at this property was a new unvented pressurised cylinder to replace the existing Combi boiler. This allows for multiple hot water outlets to be ran at once whilst still providing a high flow rate to all outlets. This gives a more powerful shower than what could be offered with the original Combi boiler. As the existing flow rate was poor into the property the cold water main has also been upgraded from a 15mm degraded copper pipe to a new 25mm plastic alkahene to ensure the best possible flow rate into the property from the external water meter.
